Yangsuo, 65 kilometers southeast of Guilin, is a beautiful city in the mountains. Yulonghe is a picturesque river like a jade belt running around it. There is a well known saying "the mountains and rivers of Yangsuo are the best under heaven", but the pastoral scenery of the area is also renowned.

Tramping Along the Great Wall From Gansu
Some of the oldest sections of the Great Wall are found in Gansu and date back to the Qin, Han and Ming Dynasties. Trampers can start at Yumenguan Pass, go east through Jiayuguan Pass, Shandan, and eventually arrive at Ningxia, Inner Mongolia, Hebei, and Beijing.

Walkers' Camping At Yunnan Yehuagou (Wild Flower Ravine)
This is a two-day tour. On the first day tourists are taken to the mouth of the ravine by bus, and they walk to the camping area. There they pitch tents, cook in the open air and have a bonfire party.
On the second day there is mountain climbing, a walk to Sanchahe Valley and an expedition into a limestone cave. Yehuagou is a natural park, suitable for camping and cooking in the open air. It has beautiful natural scenery and is a delightful place to walk.

Jingxi is situated in southwest Guangxi, and borders Vietnam. It is surrounded by mountains and is known as a "small Guilin". It has a favorable climate all year round, so it is also a summer resort and an ideal place for tourists or walkers.
