The Preferential Policy for Trans-National Companies

The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation has a dopted the following five-point preferential policy to attract investments from the trans-nationals to China.

1. It will further help enterprises with investments from trans-nationals to solve the problem of the balance of exchange so that foreign-invested enterprises can regulate their exchange freely within the bounds of Chinese territory.
   
2. It will further increase the number of fields for investment.
   
3. It will permit trans-nationals to set up investment companies in China. The focal point is to attract trans-nationals to set up investment companies, further broaden the scope of investment and permit them to make investments in multiple industries, multiple fields and multiple regions.
   
4. It will encourage trans-nationals to invest in capital-intensive and technology intensive industries, and permit them to sell their products in the Chinese market and solve their demand for exchange through the market.
   
5. It will encourage them to set up stock companies to open the way for investments in China by other trans-nationals.
